LYMCEE – PRIVACY POLICY
1. Scope
This policy explains how Lymcee (“we”, “us” and “our”) handles personal information in connection with its website, enquiries, subscriptions and services. Processing depends on the features used and the information provided.
For customer records entered by an organisation, that organisation determines the purposes and permissions for using those records. Lymcee processes such records under the applicable service agreement and authorised instructions.
2. Information Covered
Depending on the service used, information may include account and contact details, business details, subscription and transaction references, enquiry and support messages, and records or files entered by authorised users.
Where technical logs, IP addresses, device information, cookies or analytics are collected, their purposes and applicable choices must be explained in the relevant service or cookie notice.
Do not send passwords, full payment-card credentials or unrelated sensitive information through support messages.
3. Purposes and Legal Basis
Information is used to establish and administer accounts, provide requested functionality, manage subscriptions, respond to support requests, protect the service and meet applicable legal obligations.
Processing must rely on an applicable lawful basis, including consent where required. Materially different uses will be explained and consent obtained where necessary.
4. Access and Sharing
Access is limited to authorised personnel and service providers who need information to deliver the agreed service, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
Information may also be disclosed when legally required or in response to valid legal process. Personal information will not be sold. Any overseas processing arrangements and legally required safeguards must be disclosed for the relevant service.
5. Connected Services and AI
Optional integrations may request access to third-party accounts. Permissions and the information accessed must be explained before authorisation. Connected providers also apply their own privacy terms.
Before personal information is processed by an external AI provider, applicable disclosures must explain the provider’s role, retention and model-training arrangements. Do not submit sensitive or confidential information unless that use is supported by the relevant service arrangements.
6. Retention and Deletion
Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose, the applicable agreement, legal obligations and unresolved disputes. Account closure, export windows and deletion periods must be specified in the relevant service arrangements.
When information is no longer required, it will be deleted or anonymised as applicable. Backup copies may remain until scheduled removal, subject to access restrictions and applicable law.
7. Security
Lymcee will apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information processed. No system is completely secure. Server outages, crashes or other incidents may affect availability or data.
The liability provisions in the Terms and Conditions do not remove mandatory privacy, security or breach-notification obligations. Required notifications will be provided in accordance with applicable law.
8. Rights and Requests
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion, withdraw consent where relevant, or raise a privacy complaint by contacting info@lymcee.com. Identity and authority may need verification.
Requests concerning records controlled by a customer organisation should normally be directed to that organisation. Lymcee will provide assistance where required by the applicable agreement and law.
Withdrawal of consent may affect services that require the relevant processing. Legally required records may remain retained.
9. Children’s Information
Lymcee is intended for business use by persons legally competent to contract. Customers must not upload children’s personal information without the permissions and safeguards required by law. Contact us if you believe children’s information has been handled inappropriately.
10. Changes
Updates will be published with a revised date when adopted. Material changes will be notified and consent obtained where required.
By accepting this policy, you agree in advance to future updates, modifications and enhancements to Lymcee’s features, functionality and policies, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Lymcee may implement such changes without seeking your approval or consent, or sending an individual notification for each update. Updated policies will be published on the relevant policy pages at https://lymcee.com with a revised date, and you are responsible for reviewing those pages periodically. This authorisation does not permit retrospective changes to an accepted agreement or remove any obligation imposed by applicable law.
